Windsor Real Estate Statistics for August 2008
August 2008 say a drop of 9% in the number of houses listed over Aug 2007. From 1103 new listings this August to 1209 for August 2007. Year to date we're down 4% on the number of listings that have come up for sale. This year we've had 10,335 properties come up for sale as opposed to 10,761 for 2007.
Sales for the month were down 19% over 2007 at 440 compared to 543. Year to date we're down on sales 6%,currently at 3611 as compared to 3857 or 2007. Dollar volume for the month is down 26% over August 2007 and for the year dollar volume is down 9%. Meaning more of the lower priced homes are selling and prices have softened a bit.
