December 2008 Windsor Essex County Real Estate Stats
Total listings for the month of December were up 6% over 2007 with 603 new listings. That brought a year end total of 14142 listings for the year, which is a decrease of 5% over 2007. Total number of sales were down 5% to 203 as compared to December 2007. Total sales for the year were 4991 which is a decrease of 7% over 2007. Total sales dollar amounts were down 13% for the month over 2007 and yearly were down 12%. Average price for the month was down approximately a $3500 from 2007 and for the year our average price was down approximately the same from $166,196 in 2007 to $162,599 in 2008.
