Windsor Real Estate Stats for October
Total sales for the month of October were down 19% with 405 properties selling. Residential sales were down 20.9% with 352 Residential properties selling. Total listings for the month were down 9% with Residential listings down just over 14%. Fewer houses coming up for sale makes it more difficult to find homes for potential buyers, helping sellers that have their houses for sale. Year to date average sales price is up to $163,448 from $157,191 in 2009. With the very low mortgage rates people seem to be buying a little higher priced home this year with monthly carry costs basically being the same. With the first half of the year being a very active time for sales we seem to be seeing a cooling in the last half of the year. We'll see how things go the rest of the year.
